He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Randall Gipson and Bonnie Modrall Shelton; and his grandparents, Howard, Louise Modrall, Carl and Helen Gipson.
He is survived by: his daughter Allison Gipson of Manchester; his sister Jodi Stewart of Winchester; his grandchildren, Riley Rose and Mila Watson; and his aunt Patsy Davidson of Louisiana.
