He was predeceased by: his parents, James Goad and Veda Goad; and his wife Cleeta Goad. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Goad and Melissa Stewart; his siblings, David "Genoa" Goad (Martha), L. H., Pete, Woodrow "Butch" Goad and Katherine Owens (Walt); and his grandchildren, Ryan Goad (Jessica), Corey Clebenger (Jocelyn) and Kyra Kenney. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
