She was predeceased by: her father Hoyt Brandon; her husband Benton Lawson; and her sister Nina McCullough. She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Brandon (Crystal), Monroe Brandon (Linda), William "Bill" Brandon (Shirley) and Jessie Vaughn. She is also survived by several nieces. nephews, and extended family members and a host of friends.
