He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chaffin, Sr. and Minnie Alice Hargis Chaffin; and his wife Lillie Carver Chaffin. He is survived by: his children, Alice Chaffin of Shelbyville, TN, Ruby Dyer of Murfreesboro, TN and Earnest Doyle Chaffin of Beechgrove, TN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Burial will follow at Rocky Glade Cemetery in Rutherford Co. For those who wish, Memorial Donations may be made towards Mr. Chaffin's funeral expenses.
