He was predeceased by: his father Gene Dorris; his son Jason Dorris; and his sister Connie Lee. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Dorris; and his children, Victor R. Dorris, Jr. (Sarah), Jennifer Anderson (Stan) and Kristie King (Ritchie). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
