He was predeceased by: his father Hermon Stockton; and his sister Billie Jean Stockton. He is survived by: his wife Connie Stockton; his son Vernon Stockton (Dana) of Beech Bluff; his siblings, Ronnie Stockton of Beech Bluff and Charlotte Godwin of Hartsville, SC; his grandchildren, Jason Stockton, Hunter Stockton, Hailey and Destiny; and his great grandchild Stella Ray Stockton.
