It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grady W Thompson Jr. of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, born in Madison, Tennessee, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady William Thompson and Bessie Hunt Thompson; his wife Doris Evelyn Thompson; and his brothers, Terry William Thompson and Gary Glynn Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffery Grady Thompson, Shelia Ann Laslie (Robert) and Cindy Carroll; and his sisters, Barbara Dodd and Katherine DeLoach. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
