With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald H. Thompson of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, born in Alamo, Tennessee, who passed away on August 8, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daulton O'Neal Thompson and Margarette Delia Pinkston Thompson; his brother Floyd Thompson; and his pet Happy. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Brock Thompson; his daughters, Terry Thompson of Alamo and Hope Thompson Sumler of Jackson; his brothers, Don Thompson (Jimmie) of Alamo and Gaylon Thompson (Jan) of Alamo; and his grandchildren, Gerald Leek (Melissa), Matthew Leek (Chrissy Payne), Casey Leek Bell (Kyle), Bailey Elizabeth Sumler and Maci Elise Sumler (Jordan Cressman). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Union Baptist Church Bus Fund, 2244 Beech Bluff Road, Jackson, Tennessee 38301.
