He is survived by: his wife Peggy Adkins; his sons, Robert Adkins Jr. (Katherine), Ted Adkins (Lisa), Kevin Adkins and James Adkins (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Corey Adkins (Heather), Dorian Snyder (Matt), Kasi Adkins, Hunter Adkins, Hayden Adkins, Spencer Adkins, Kaitlynn Adkins, Mikayla Adkins, Tucker Holt and Kourtni Combs (Randy); his great grandchildren, Michael Kurtis Adkins, Rylee Faith Adkins, Carson Dean Combs and Lily Shane Adkins; and his brother Gary Adkins (Debbie).
