He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Fugate and Sophia Fugate; and his siblings, Alice Trobaugh, Emma Sue Lawson and Burell Fugate.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Fugate (Theresa), Sandy King (Tracy) and Robbie Fugate (Wendy); his brothers, Boyd Fugate (Carla) and Marvin Fugate (Yolanda); his sister-in-law Betty Fugate; his grandchildren, Ashley Thompson, Shannon Fugate (LaShonna), Jaclyn Fugate, Edward Fugate, Johnathan Fugate and Racheal Fugate; and his great grandchild Riley Stallings. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter on the way and many nieces and nephews.
