He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda McDaniel; his parents, Winton McDaniel and Delta McDaniel; his brothers, Lawrence and Dale McDaniel; his son Shannon Welch; and his granddaughter Ella Kate DeBord.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda DeBord (Steven); his grandchildren, Meghan Owens (Matt), Madison Welch, Caydon, Elliott, Jenna, Wyatt and Caroline DeBord; his great grandchildren, Marlee and Myles Owens; his siblings, Bruce McDaniel (Donna) and Ina Lee Carpenter (Doyle); his close friends, Bob and Sherry Monday; and also, Chris Wolfe and Todd Brabson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
