He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carson and Minnie Bray; his wife Ella Imogene Bray (Jean); and his brother-in-law Rev. Billy C. Carroll. He is survived by: his sister Marie Carroll (Billy); his nephew Tim Carroll (Dianne); and his niece Susan Thames (Chuck). He is also survived by 3 great nephews, 2 great nieces, 3 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barnards Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station, Tennessee.
