It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallene Thompson (Baxter, Tennessee), who passed away on July 8, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Thompson, Jr.; and her siblings, Anell Brewington Palmer and James Fred Brewington of Baxter. She is survived by: her son Hugh Arthur of Baxter; her daughter-in-law Debbie Thompson of Baxter; her son Philip Wayne of Chesapeake Beach; her daughter-in-law Jenny Thompson of Chesapeake Beach; her daughter Avanell Metzgar of Cookeville; her son-in-law Jim Metzgar of Cookeville; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Nick Barca) of Nashville, Andrea (Jason Smith) of Cookeville, Dr Ryan Thompson (Dee) of Murfreesboro, Justin Thompson, Melinda Thompson of Chesapeake Beach, Blake Metzgar and Daniel Metzgar of Cookeville; her great grandchildren, Colin Barca, Victor Barca, Elena Smith, Claire Smith and Quintin Arthur Thompson; her brother David Brewington of Double Springs; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Brewington of Double Springs and Jessie Brewington Countryman (Pete).
