She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Denton and Loy Autrey Maddux; her former husband James Leftwich; her daughter Sheila Leftwich Scott; her grandson Jeremy Helm; and her sister Verda Warta.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Carr of Baxter; her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Rick Thurman of Baxter; her brother Harold; her sister-in-law Ann Maddux of Mt. Juliet; her grandchildren, Jamie Scott Ashburn (Kent), Kayla Helm and Joshua Scott; her stepgrandchildren, Cassandra Davis and Keith Griffin; and her close friend Freddie Judd. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
