He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Royce and Ruby Jean Johnson James; and his siblings, Magdalene James, Milas "Mouse" James and Eddie Ray James.
He is survived by: his wife Married August; his son Shay Becraft of Baxter; his siblings, Susie Dyer (Glenn) of Silver Point, Vicki Fields (Bennie) of Chestnut Mound, Roger Dale James (Pat) of Silver Point, Larry Wayne James of Silver Point, Lloyd Lee James of Cookeville, Timmy James (Janice) of Cookeville and Frankie James of Elmwood; and his close friends, Megan Cook and James Green. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
