He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shores; his children, Jimmy Wayne Shores and Amy Shores; his brother Harold Shores; his brother-in-law Herman Herren; his grandson Wyatt Burchett; and also Bingo.

Memorials may be made in memory to the P.G. Fellowship Church, or the 4-H Horse Program.
