He was predeceased by: his children-in-law, Ricky Jones and Debby Whitefield; his siblings, Lucille Whitefield, Reba Whitefield and Travis Whitefield; and his parent-in-law Leo.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Patricia; his son Earl Whitefield of Andersonville, TN; his brother Willis Whitefield of Smithville; his grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell (Jonathan) of Hill, Lacie Patty (Tim) of Caryville, TN and Jeff Jones of Clinton, TN; his great grandchildren, Isla, Kinsey Mitchell, Jordan Jones, Holly and Paige Patty; and his close friends, Jim and Susan Hiser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
