James Foster Obituary
BAXTER-Funeral services for James "Jim" Warren Foster, 62 of Baxter, will be Friday, December 30 at 1 PM at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma Community. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 to 8 PM and after 10 AM Friday until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Skip Abbott will officiate.
Mr. Foster died Monday, December 26, 2022 at the home of his sister in Buffalo Valley, TN.
He was born July 8, 1960 in Nashville to the late William Arthur and Audrey Mai Bowman Foster.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Foster and a brother-in-law, Richard Neill.
Jim was a heavy equipment operator with Mid South Utility in Baxter.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, off roading and carpentry. Jim loved spending time with friends and family, especially the grandsons.
Survivors include son, Matthew Foster and fiance Cayla Judd of Baxter; daughter, Amanda Foster of Baxter; sisters, Brenda Tinin of Buffalo Valley, Debbie Neill of Ashland City; grandsons: Christopher Tatrow, Tristan Denson and Zachary Burton; step-grandchildren: Kenzie, Hayden and Ethan Judd; step-great-grandson, Maddox Perez, and several great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jamie and Lonnie Bowman, Jeff and Tommy Bryant, Derek Williams, Scott Vanderpool, and Mike Herren.
