He is survived by: his mother Georgia Lewis Sherfey of Algood; his wife Dean Thrasher Gardner; his sons, Jack Janes, Jacob Bowe and Roger Boles; his sisters, Sheila Hammock, Pennie Dyer (Johnnie) and Judy Tallent; and his grandchildren, Jack Janes Jr., Steven, Tommy Janes and Kysin Bowe.
