With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest C. Dyer of Baxter, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paskell Wirt Dyer and Flora Alice Pippin Dyer; and his brother Harold Wirt Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Dyer of Baxter, TN; his children, Keith Ernest Dyer of Baxter, TN, Kirk Alan Dyer of Cookeville, TN and Kimberly Jeannie Qualls of Sparta, TN; his sister Irma Louise Dyer Flatt (Bill) of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Karissa Dyer (Justin Coats), Kenzie Wade (Jake), Lexi Elmore (Andrew), Alan Dyer, Ethan Dyer, Tyler Qualls (Brooke) and Madison Qualls; and his great grandchild William Clint Elmore.

Memorial donations may be made to the Union Hill – Flatt Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
