He was predeceased by: his parents, Doss Medley and Edna Whitehead Medley; his son Roland Dean Medley; and his siblings, Tavia Medley Sexton and Eddie Hubert Medley.
He is survived by: his wife Zella Louise Potter Medley; and his siblings, Martha Medley Bruce Bryant of Baxter, Jewel Medley Martin of Allons, TN, Rachel Medley Schmidt of Canton, IL, Jessie Medley Brewington Countryman of Cookeville and Omer Medley (Patty) of Villa Rica, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
