She was predeceased by: her parents, William Massa and Vestie Bussell Massa; her husband Lloyd Sherrell; her son Kenny Sherrell; and her son-in-law U. L. Netherton.
She is survived by: her daughter Lavinia Leftwich (Herb); her grandchildren, Tonya, Steven Wheeler, Nathan, Marcy Netherton, Matthew and Christi Leftwich; her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Zach Netherton, Audrey, Anna, Aaron Wheeler, Hunter and Fischer Leftwich; and her sisters, Marie Massa and Beatrice Cole.
