It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita A. Asher (Baxter, Tennessee), born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leslie Johnson Sr. and Frances Sharp Johnson; her siblings, W. L. Johnson, John Johnson, Robert Johnson, Martha Roland, Betty Lou Johnson, Alice Frietsch, Elizabeth Vaughn, Bessie Hash and Jane Frazier; her son-in-law Terry Holt; and her siblings-in-law, Jan Mike, Brenda Asher, Doug Redmon, Don Hawkins and James Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Asher; her children, Skip Asher (Becky) of Cookeville and Kim Holt of Manchester, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tyler Asher (Candace) of Cookeville, Kevin Asher (Nicole) of Cookeville, Brandi Marcom (Jared) of Manchester, Travis Grizzle (Brittany) of Nashville, Quenton Grizzle (Nellie) of Downey and Elijah Holt of Manchester, Tennessee; her sisters, Bea Brown (Bud), Joyce Klaja and Nancy Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Don Asher, Jim Asher, Shelia Parker (Rick), Linda Redmon and Debbie Hawkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
