He was predeceased by: his parents, Ola Swindle and Eard Swindle; his sister Elizabeth Williford; and his brother-in-law Al Williford. He is survived by: his children, Gary Swindle (Brenda) of Beaumont, TX, James Leonard of Scotts Hill, TN, Ronnie Leonard of Memphis, TN and Shelia Ann Gipson (Mike) of Bartlett, TN; his brother James Swindle (Doris) of Decaturville, TN; his grandsons, Austin Swindle, Isaiah Gipson and Andy Leonard; and his caregiver Crystal Mayers.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Channel Cemetery.
