He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Funderburk and Vera Funderburk; his siblings, Glenn Holland Funderburk, Grady Lynn Funderburk, Peggy Sue Funderburk and Uneta F. Funderburk; and his daughter Susie Funderburk.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bennett Funderburk; his children, Fonzo Funderburk (Gail) of Bath Springs, Randy Funderburk of Palm Springs and Gail Smith (Franklin) of Smyrna, TN; his brother Ted Funderburk; his grandchildren, Jason Funderburk (Kristy), Josh Funderburk (Angie), Jennifer Baxter (Ray) and Jonathan Smith (Macy); and his great grandchildren, Grant Funderburk, Ally Funderburk, Caleb Funderburk, Ben Baxter, Wes Funderburk, Belle Baxter, Addison Funderburk and Brooks Baxter.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parsons Mortuary (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Concord Cemetery (1010-1114 Concord Rd, Decaturville, TN 38329).
