With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winston Leslie Owens Jr. of Bartlett, Tennessee, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Winston Leslie Owens Sr. and Pauline Whitfield Owens; his wife Gloria Turner Owens; his children, Tammy Jones (Gordon), Katrina Carrigan (Paul) and Les Owens (Penny); his sister Linda Covey (Bill); his grandchildren, Stephen Carrigan, Michael Jones, Laura Cisco, Jacob Owens and Katie Grace Sartain; his great grandchildren, Elle Cisco, Ezra Cisco and Sophie Kyle Sartain; and his sisters, Grace Duncan and Brenda Collins.
Memorials may be directed to the Memphis Mission for the Homeless, Bellevue Baptist Church Family of Friends Mission Fund, Gideon Bibles, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
