He was predeceased by: his parents, William Proctor Brigman and Lucile Brigman; his sisters, Thelma Frances Holden and Sandra Faye Jackson; and his nephew Michael Holden.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Carrie Templeton (Terry), Jerry Brigman, Robert Brigman and Brenda Brigman (Louis); his grandchildren, Ricky, Michelle, Heather, Kimberly, Angel, Laura and Robert; his great grandchildren, Pierce, Kaile, Lyla, Emma, Jaci, John David, Jocelyn, William, Dani, McKenzie, Ryder and Luke; his niece Vicky Joyner; and his nephews, Mark Jackson, Jim Jackson and David Kersey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to The Memphis Union Mission.
