With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Burton Burrus of Bartlett, Tennessee, who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joanna Burton and George Tribble Burrus; his wife Betty Jo Burrus (Wright); his daughter Lisa Holmes (George); his grandchildren, Rocky Burrus (Jamie), Kristie Waddell (Scott), Amie Austein (Nick), Nicholas Holmes (Jodie), Hunter Burrus (Maley), Holly Payne (David) and Chase Holmes (Paige); and his brother George T. Burrus. He was also cherished by 21 great grandchildren.
