It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wally Jackson Simpson of Bartlett, Tennessee, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Simpson and Elsie Simpson; his sister Jean McKelroy; and his brothers-in-law, Pete McKelroy and Bill Snellings.
He is survived by: his wife Iris McPhail Simpson; his children, Donald Wayne (Wallis), Steven Lee and Paula Jean Lipford (Steve); his grandchildren, Stephanie Bullock (Aaron), Holly Stewart (Chad), Jesse Simpson and Andrew Simpson; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Cage, Cara Bullock, Sadie, Nolen, Hadley, Liana and Bella Stewart; and his sister Mattie Ann Snellings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Ellendale Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
