She was predeceased by: her brother Ricky Brown (Debbie); and her niece Sarah Carmichael. She is survived by: her husband Don Byars; her daughters, Courtney Parra (Russell) and Lauren Byars; her grandchildren, Brinlee Parra and Brice Parra; her mother Mary Jane Brown; and her siblings, Sherri Brown, Darlene Disney, Robin Barnhart (Eric) and Chris Brown (Kelly).

Memorials may be made in Tauna's honor to the West Cancer Foundation.
