She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Higgins and Irene Higgins. She is survived by: her husband Dewey Murray; her daughters, Penny Templeton (Greg) and Donna Hankins (Neil); her grandchildren, Lane Templeton and Braxton Templeton; and her pet Little Bit.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
