She was predeceased by: her husband Richmond Wayne Best; her parents, Corbell Blankenship and Helen Rogers; and her brothers, Sherman Blankenship and Raymond Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Carrie A. Bunker of Memphis, TN and Timothy W. Best of Bartlett, TN; her sister Barbara L. McGregor of Cordova, TN; her grandchildren, Dustin, Abbygale, Summer, Bentley Best, Wesley Hardin and Bryce Bunker; and her great grandchild Violet Best.
