He was predeceased by: his brother Randy Sandefer; and his half-brother Gary Sandefer. He is survived by: his children, Amber Kelley (Ken Clark), Ronald Sandefer Jr. (Bubba), Brennan Sandefer and Cas Sandefer; his grandchildren, Faylia Kelley, Brantlee Kelley, Randi Sandefer and Taylorfaye Sandefer; his sisters, Patti McKnight (Deral McKnight) and Judi Boyd (Nick Boyd); and his half-siblings, Sheila Alexander, Melinda Wilson and Roy Sandefer (Natasha Sandefer).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) and/or Rein-bow academy Therapeutic Riding.
