She was predeceased by: her parents, Loreto Daya Cabrera and Dr. Leonardo I. Guia; and her brothers, Dr. Claro Cabrera and Senen Cabrera. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Melanie Perkins (David) of Lakeland, Michelle Guia of Bolivar and Dr. Marvin Guia of Hardeeville, SC; her sister Alicia Cabrera; and her granddaughter Emily Perkins of Lakeland.
