He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Whitten King and Ada Beulah King; his brother Charles "Tootsie" Whitten King; his great grandchild Adeline Reid Hollister; and his stepmother Ila Williams King.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Schwartz (Scott), Patti Long (Kent) and Robbie King (Vicki). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
