It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Helms Chandler (Bartlett, Tennessee), born in Alamo, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leon Puckett and Eunice Hodge Puckett; her former husband William "Bill" M. Helms; her husband Houston M. Chandler; and her sister Faye P. Parker.

She is survived by: her children, Terry M. Helms of Memphis, TN and Sherri Hyatt (Allen) of Searcy, AR; her grandchildren, Derrick M. Helms, Matthew M. Helms, Heather B. Hyatt, Allison R. Hyatt and Andrew J. Hyatt; and her sisters, Sarah F. Lapham and Mary Alice Alred. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
