It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Evelyn Hampton (Bartlett, Tennessee), born in Iuka, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Robinson and Birdie Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Jim Flaherty (Debbie), Marcia Hilliard (Mike), Pam Kirby (Glynn) and Michael Flaherty (Kim); and her grandchildren, Drew Flaherty (Allison), Matt Flaherty (Madelynn), Vivien Kirby (Robert), Chance Kirby, Jack Flaherty and Alex Flaherty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Samaritan's Purse in Marilyn's honor.
