She was predeceased by: her daughter Jennifer Lane. She is survived by: her son Jerry Dale Lane, Jr. (Alfa); her grandchildren, Brandon Lane, Ashley Lane and Crystal Lane; her great grandchild Oliver Dale; her brother Gary Sherron (Annette); and her close friend Martha Ochsner.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Madonna Learning Center, or to St. Paul's Methodist Church.
