He is survived by: his children, David Countess (Sascha) of Bartlett and Teresa Countess Chumney of Memphis; his grandchildren, Tyler Countess, Carolyn Countess, Christopher Chumney and Josey Jones (Bryson); and his sister Maggie Wilson of Memphis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home (5599 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134).
