He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa and Albert Davis; his siblings, Herman Davis, George Davis, John Davis and Lucille Wells; and his son Jeff Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Dottie; his daughter Lisa Nelson; his son-in-law Kevin Nelson; his granddaughter Hannah (Brady); his great grandchildren, Olivia Grace and John Deere; his sister Willene Hawkins of Wynne, AR; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Percifield of Indianapolis, IN and Bill Gaskin of Kingwood, TX. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
