He was predeceased by: his father Garner McDaniel; his stepmother Billie McDaniel; his mother Lucille Holley; his stepfather Tommy Holley; his sister Betty Owens; and his stepbrother Rusty Holley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda McDaniel; his former wife Diana Davis; his daughter Hilary Aleman (Nobe); his grandchildren, Daniel, Graham and Abigail Aleman; and also Nick McDaniel (Haley).
