He was predeceased by: his daughter Tina Cooper Shah. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Cooper of Germantown, TN.; his daughter Dr. Elisa Cooper (England) of Cambridge; his grandsons, Nickolas, Simon, Luke and Elliott Shah; his siblings, Frances Cooper Rives and Sam Cooper (Pam Cooper); and his nieces, Melanie and Jennifer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Calvary Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 2077, Memphis, TN. 38101.
