We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Jasper Wade Hammons of Bartlett, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lucian Hammons; and his siblings, Elizabeth Neola Chisholm, James Paul Hammons, Roger Wayne Hammons and Donald Dean Hammons.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hammons; his daughter Lisa McClinton (Michael); his grandchildren, Avery and Audree McClinton; and his siblings, Dorothy Marie Ehrett, Linda Joyce McClure, Marc Gwin Hammons, Emergene Lucian Hammons and Virgil Ray Hamons (Wanda).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobility Worldwide, P.O. Box 26, Bartlett, TN 38029 or to the American Heart Association.

“Wade was the shop manager of MWI Memphis since its inception around 2010. He devoted his life and energies almost exclusively to building Mobility Carts. He knew every bolt and screw and piece of wood in the shop and made sure everyone had what they needed to build the vehicles. Wade always began every workday sharing with the crew prayer and devotions. Many times he was at the shop late into the evening making lists and assigning duties. Wade celebrated his 90th birthday several weeks ago.”
