He was predeceased by: his brother Justin Shackelford; and his grandparents, J. R., Violet Taylor, Carl and Heidi Shackelford.
He is survived by: his mother Dottie Newsom; his sister Emily Holliman; his father James Shackelford Sr.; his stepmother Vickie Shackelford; his pet Tucker; and his son Jason.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Jason's honor.
