He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Goodbar and Iona Abbott Goodbar; and his siblings, Harry Goodbar, Joe Goodbar and Joyce Spears.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Goodbar; his daughters, Jamie Reuter (Brian) of Cherokee Village, Emily Queen (Chris) of Bartlett and Sarah Taylor of Bartlett; his brother Clyde Goodbar (Rebecca) of El Paso, Texas; his brothers-in-law, Timothy Deese of Franklin and Mark Steele of West Memphis, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Zoe Gale, Collin Reuter, Maxwell Reuter, Benjamin Smith, Annabelle Queen and Lucy Queen; and his great grandchild Delilah Forehand.
