He was predeceased by: his son J. Mark Sledge MD; and his siblings, Martha Crunk, Bobby and Alvin Sledge. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughter Donna (Wayne); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Katie and Ryan (CJ); his great grandchildren, Luke, Cooper, Connor, Hayden and Cora; and his pet Beck.
