She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Azalea Rowell Moffitt; her husband Calvin Leroy Moore; and her siblings, Kyle, Clyde, Buddy, Lee Earl McBryde, Kathleen Martin, Dora Hatcher and Geneva Mauney.

She is survived by: her daughter Norma Jane Moore Owens; her grandsons, Jason Owens (Inger) and Kevin Owens; her great grandchildren, Sebastian Owens (Semaj) and Clavin Owens; her great great grandchildren, Finnegan and Gwendolyn Owens; and her sister Ann Cross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
