She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Pippin and Willie Meyers Pippin; her husband Frank Eason; her sister Eileen Pippin; and her son Kenneth Eason.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Eason Jones (Bobby), David Eason (Carol) and Edward Eason (Betty).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Raleigh United Methodist Church, to which Helen was a life long member or to wherever the donor chooses.
