He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Cash; and his parents, George Cash and Pauline Cash. He is survived by: his children, John (Barbara) and Patricia Flynn; and his grandsons, Tyler and Jordan Flynn. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, a brother and sister-in-law.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
