He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sowell, Sr. and Hattie Glen Sowell; and his brothers, Louis H. Sowell, Jr. and Lonnie Joe Sowell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Canon Sowell; his son Nicholas Glenn Sowell (Kim); his siblings, Linda Sue Jones (Terry) and James Carr of Friendswood, TX; and his grandchildren, Luca and Carter Sowell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
